The 2013 Chablis Vieilles Vignes has a very outgoing apricot and pear-drop-scented bouquet that is clean and pure, but just a little over-baked. The palate is well-balanced with a fine line of acidity and good body, with delicate touches of orange peel and mandarin toward the focused finish. This is one of the best releases from Durup. Drink now-2018.

The 2013 Petit Chablis has a spirited nose with vibrant apple peeling and fresh pear scents: all well-defined and pure. The palate is well-balanced with touches of bell pepper and green apple on the entry, but it is just missing a little depth of flavor toward the finish. Drink now.
